Not only did Michelle Furr score the Super Gas win at the Gainesville NHRA Division 2 event, she made her way through a 63-car field to the final round where she only fell to Jim Perry.
Attagirl Michelle, that made 12 round of NHRA racing in two weekends!
Driving her Super Gas Corvette roadster, Michelle went 9.900 on first pass of the year and went on to win seven rounds and the NHRA Division 2 Wally.
The Furr Corvette is powered by an all-aluminum Ohio Crankshaft 632.

“Thank you for everything! I forgot to share with you that I won the 2017 track championship for South Georgia Motorsports Park and I couldn’t seal the deal in the Race of Champions in Rockingham, NC. I was .011 and dead-on with a 9 and he was .006 
and dead-on with a 4, so I tucked my tail and went home.
