Ohio Crank announces new small block Chevy crankshaftS – 8/26/2019

Announcing a new series of heavy-duty small block Chevrolet cranks featuring the big-block Chevrolet front snout dimensions. Features not only the BBC snout but also smaller lightening holes and redesigned counterweights for more strength front to back. Material is 4340 forged steel and is nitrided. An additional option of heat treating and tempering process is also available.

Scott Ray said, “ We have been working on this deal for a couple of years. We expected it to be mostly used in supercharged engines, but have also found a lot of interest from circle track and other applications that drive accessories off the front of the crank.” At this time shafts are available in 3.48”, 3.75” and 4” stroke, both 350 and 400 main bearing size.
