Ohio Crank Extreme Duty I-Beam Rods
The Ohio Crankshaft I-Beam rod is designed for higher horsepower applications.

In particular, nitrous engines. It is designed with extra material in the fork area and uses a longer bolt.

The Ohio Crankshaft H-Beam connecting rod is by far our most popular rod.

It is designed for durability, with a little more material around the bolt. They are all 100% machined on all surfaces, stress relieved, and shotpeened. Our shop has both Sunnen and Peterson honing machines, with the latest diamond and vitreous technology.

Ohio Crankshaft Forged Street/Strip Rods
4340 I-Beam Street and Strip Rods
One of our newest rods, the 4340 street/strip rod is a tremendous seller.

This I-beam construction rod is forged from 4340 (not 5140 as is used in most rods in this price range). The appearance is somewhat similar to OEM rods.

All rods are precision machined using only premium mill certified aircraft quality E4340 chrome moly alloy billets, heat treated to produce a 100% martensite grain structure.
